What Makes a Rondoval Special
A Rondoval is a circular, free-standing villa modeled after the traditional African rondavel — a round dwelling with a conical thatched or framed roof. Sandals adopted this design in the early 2000s for their most secluded suite category. Today there are fifteen Rondoval categories across ten Sandals resorts in eight Caribbean islands.
Every Rondoval includes a personal butler, 24-hour in-room dining, in-room check-in, a fully stocked premium bar, and a private pool sanctuary with at least a plunge pool, outdoor shower, and soaking tub. The newest generation — the Sky Villas at Dunn's River, La Toc, and Saint Vincent — adds a rooftop terrace with a telescope for stargazing.
